On Saturday, April 2, 2016 Sarah and I participated in the ColorinMotion 5K. It was something that Sarah had mentioned a while back that she really wanted to do. I was excited for her as this was a race that she could really participate in because she could feel the colors being sprayed onto her body.
We had a good time together. We walked the 3.2 miles and completed the race in about an hour. Not bad for an out of shape mama and a blind girl. I was proud of Sarah for completing this task. I want her to know that she can accomplish just about anything that she sets her mind to.
Afterwards, Sarah was pretty tired. She spent much of Saturday recuperating.
