Spoiled Rotten

Sarah has been sick the past couple of days dealing with rota-virus. Because of this we put her mattress on the floor of our bedroom so that when she needed me in the middle of the night I wasn't too far away and also because it brought her that much closer to the rest room which she has spent a lot of time in these past few days.

Lily, apparently not getting enough attention lately because the focus has been on Sarah, decided that she had had enough and climbed into bed with Sarah, placed her head on Sarah's pillow, and began snuggling with Sarah's most favorite stuffed animal, Oreo. That dog is spoiled rotten and will go to the end of the earth to gain sympathy or garner attention when she feels she hasn't be receiving her share. (Mind you - she gets more attention on her "bad" days than most dogs get on their best of days.) She is ridiculous.

Don't you just feel sooooo sorry for this poor neglected dog?

Sammy, on the other hand, assumed his normal nighttime position which was right outside our bedroom door.  Apparently, he is patient enough to wait for Sarah to feel better before his normal attention levels are met again.

What a sweet boy.
