Kelley Point Park

After our original plans ended up not panning out we were looking for something to do this afternoon and decided to go to Kelley Point Park. This park is located in Portland and is situated right on the Columbia River where the large container ships come in to unload and load up their goods. It was quiet today with not many people around. This is a rare phenomenon as we are quickly learning. We enjoyed the quietness that the near solitude provided and spent a few hours enjoying another venue that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

The first whole shell we have found since living by the water.

She really is not as miserable as this picture depicts....

Pulling a "Wellfleet". Working his way through the water examining as much as he can very slowly and trying to see what creatures/treasures he can come up with.

Playing with his sisters.

Gross creature # 2 or 3. (I lost count after the first one.)

Mr. Josh sitting with me on the beach.

Planning out their next water adventure.

Who does not love this face?! He is so freaking cute!!!

Done exploring. Reading a book on World War 1 & 2

Cranes used to unload and load the container ships.

After fetching Lily's ball for her numerous times (because Lily is a chicken and will only go into the water up to her shins) Sammy is tuckered out.
