Random

Here is a look at an assortment of things we have been doing this past fall:

Andy sleeping on a ledge beside the river in Greenville, SC. His right arm is behind his head creating a pillow for himself. He is wearing his sneaker, jeans, his irish cap, and his orange jacket. the river is on his right and a rock wall is beneath him and beside him on the left hand side.
We took a trip to see one of Josh's soccer games in South Carolina and made a day of it by visiting Greenville, South Carolina. What a cool little city! It was so well planned out, had such cool little shops, was clean, and had a pretty cool park in the center of town. It is my second favorite smaller city (Las Cruces being number one, of course.)

Yet another view of just the tree with the yellow leaves. The branches spread out above my head making an umbrella of color which contrasts with the blue sky beyond.
I loved this tree. I cannot pinpoint exactly why, but it was just such a cool tree to me.

Another view of the tree beside the river with the yellow leaves. On the opposite side of the bank are city buildings.

The suspension bridge we walked on to cross the river. There is a group of birds sitting contentedly on the metal ropes above us keeping the suspension bridge from falling.
These birds were just chilling on the wires of a suspension bridge. There were more of them than was captured in the picture. They didn't seem to care about the hubbub of everything going on below them - they were just enjoying the sun.

A view of the gurgling river. A tree with yellow fall leaves stands on the end of the river.
Another pic of my favorite tree there.

A picture from that scary bridge over the river in Greenville, South Carolina. In front of us are a half dozen separate waterfalls falling into the river below. The city buildings are surrounding the water. The sky is a brilliant blue.
We were standing on a suspension bridge here. I didn't not like it at all. I am not a huge fan of heights and being over a body of water on top of being high(ish) in the air is my worst nightmare times two.

You laying down beside the river in the park in Greensboro, South Carolina on the way to Josh's last soccer game. You are resting your head on your fists. The sun is out and the sky is a deep blue. The river has large boulders scattered throughout it.
My girl just chillin' and getting some much needed vitamin D.

Me and Margie sitting with our backs to a rock wall beside that river/waterfall in Greensboro/Greenville? South Carolina.
My and my mini-me in both looks and temperament (or so I am told). Isn't she a beauty?

A selfie of you, Elizabeth, and Andy in the car maybe on the way to the beach.
Some random trip somewhere...don't remember where. These three are always up for an adventure though, and I love that about them.
You, Nana, Andy, and Elizabeth standing side-by-side in the barn where we got our pumpkins from.
Picking out a pumpkin at a (lame) pumpkin patch with Nana.

Andy, Elizabeth, and you with your heads in the pumpkin sign with nana standing behind you at the pumpkin patch. the sky is blue.

Andy, Elizabeth, and you with your heads in the pumpkin sign with me standing behind you at the pumpkin patch.

A pic of me and Andy at another one of Elizabeth's soccer games. The sky is blue, but the weather must have been a bit chilly as both Andy and I are dressed in warm clothes.
Me and this sweet boy at another one of his sister's soccer games that he voluntarily attended to support his sister.

You and Andy walking arm in arm on the greenway. Max is in the picture behind you with his leash stretched out all the way as he tries to catch up to you both. The sky is a deep blue with fluffy white clouds. The trees are all green with leaves.
Going for a walk on the greenway. The Greenway is a miles and miles long trail that connects with other trails around the city. It is completely paved and is one of our favorite places to walk with Max.

A closeup of a pink flower with a yellow center that blooms on the bushes out front.
A bush in our front yard develops these pink blossoms every fall and I love it. They are so pretty and numerous on the bush.

Deep red leaves in a tree outside of the church where you practice for choir.
Although this picture does not do the leaves justice, they were so vibrant and beautiful in the autumn.
Moosey sitting on my books that I am trying to work with on the dining room table. The pic is a close up of his face as he stares directly into the camera.
Last, but never least - my favorite creature on the face of this earth - my Moose.
