Our Sunday

Yesterday was an amazing day. The weather was warm (73ish degrees) and sunny. We capitalized on this by spending the majority of our day outdoors. Here are some pic's of what our day looked like. I included some more house pics. The trail that we hiked was super hard. It rose 1100 feet and was very narrow and rocky. Sarah told Bob and I at the beginning of the trailhead that she wanted to try and do this trail on her own. So, with verbal navigation help she did just that - made it all the way to the top in some spots crawling up the rock faces so that she could just up the mountain on her own. Bob and I were so happy for her. It was an amazing feat.

Breakfast of pancakes.

Working together to put up a basketball hoop.

Lily making sure the hoop goes up properly.

Putting up the last part - the net.

Tortugas Mountain trail.

Sarah hiked up this whole trail all by herself. It was amazing to see. This part of the trail was mild compared to some parts we hiked up.

Sarah - super proud of herself for climbing the mountain without help.

O-H-I-O!

Andy found something interesting to explore.

Daddy helping Sarah down the trail.

Me and my buddy. (Never mind that trashy bra strap.)
